System Setup

You may change system settings such as Hearing impaired, SPDIF, Audio Preference etc. by making use of Option menu.

Press MENU and the main menu screen displays.

Press 3or4to select Option menu, press 6to access the menu.

Within the menu, press 5,6,3,4 to navigate through the options or adjust an option.

Press MENU to return to previous menu. Press EXIT to exit the menu screen directly.

Selects on-screen menus language.

Note: The default selection of this item is English, and cannot be adjusted.

Hearing Impaired

Press 3/4 to select On to display the subtitles (if available) for the hearing impaired.

(Only for digital programs)

Select Off to turn off the function.

 

Selects the digital audio output mode for S/PDIF. You can select Auto or PCM.

SPDIF

(Only for digital programs) Auto: Output audio signal as its original format. If both AC3 and PCM are available in a program, then AC3 format will be selected in preference.

PCM: Output audio signal by PCM format (if available).

Note: To select Auto is recommended.

Selects the audio output mode. You can select MPEG or Dolby Digital.

Audio Preference

(Only for digital programs) MPEG: Output audio signal in MPEG format (if available).

Dolby Digital: Output audio signal in Dolby Digital format (if available).
