Your DIAC-1500 will recognizethedigital signalof whatevertype of digital sourceyou connect andwill switch to the correctsamplingtateautomatically. The 44.1 kHz samplingtateis standard for compactdiscs. 32 kHz is for digital broadcast;48kHz is for DA T.

Error/Data LED

In casethereis an interuption of datafrom the digital sourceor a malfunction of thedigital source or connection,the ErrorIDataLED will illuminate. This showsyou that your DIAC-1500 is not receivingcorrectdigital datato processandconvertto analog. In this case,a muting circuit will

preventa "garbage"signalpassedto Analog Out or theDigital Out Recordjacks.
