RECORDING A TV PROGRAM/EXTERNAL AV INPUT

If the unit is in DVD mode, press the DVD/VCR button (on the main unit) or VCR Button (on the remote) to change the unit to VCR mode.

Press the POWER button to turn on the unit and load a tape with the Erase Prevention Tab intact.

Press the SP/SLP button to select the desired tape speed. See page 33 for more information on tape usage.

Press the CHANNEL Up (π) 1 or Down (†) 2 button to

select a channel to be recorded.

button to change channels more rapidly.

 

NOTE: For Recording from the front or rear A/V inputs (VIDEO1 or Video 2), press the AV1/AV2 button repeatedly to select Video 1 or Video 2.

Press the REC button to begin recording; the REC indicator will light in the display and on the screen.
