2.4 Wiring for the cards

Wiring Precautions

1.Care must be taken to ensure that maximum voltage rating specified on the label is not exceeded.

2.For the panel mounting version, it is recommended that near the equipment an external fuse and an external switch rated at 2A/250 VAC should be equipped.

3.Beware not to over tighten the terminals screws. The torque should not exceed 1 N-m ( 8.9 Lb-in or 10.2 Kg F-cm ).

4.Except the thermocouple wirings, all wirings should be stranded copper conductor with maximum gauge 18 AWG.

5.Connect a grounding conductor with 1.6mm diameter minimum to provide protective grounding prior to turning on the equipment.

Note:

The six rear Slots can be inserted only by six cards in maximum. It can be any input card, output card or 24 VDC auxiliary power supply card.
