Remote Sensor

AUDIO (R and L MONO) and VIDEO IN Jacks Receives signals from another component, like aVCR or camcor der, when it is connected to these jacks. Use INPUT on the remote to select L2 to record from these jacks.

CHANNEL•TRACKING Up or Down Selects next higher or lower channel in theVCR’ s channel memor y.Adjusts tracking when a tape is playing.

EJECT Ejects the tape when the VCR is stopped.

FWD Forwards the tape when the VCR is stopped. Searches the picture forward during playback. Starts slow-motion playback when in play-pause and increases speed of slow-motion playback.

INPUT Selects between the line inputs andVCR’ s tuner. L1 or L2 a ppears in the display panel and VIDEO1 or VIDEO2 appears on the TV screen.

PAUSE Pauses action for viewing during playback. Pauses recording to prevent recording of unwanted scenes.

PLAY Plays a tape.

POWER Turns the VCR on or off.

RECORD Starts VCR recording. Used for express recording.

Remote Sensor Receives signals from the remote control. Aim the remote at this sensor.

REV Rewinds the tape when the VCR is stopped. Searches the picture in reverse during playback. Starts slow-motion playback when in play-pause and decreases speed of slow-motion playback.

STOP Stops the normal functions such as record, playback, rewind, fast- forward, or pause.

TV•VCR Switches the picture signal so that it either comes from the VCR or the cable/antenna system.
