Playing Audio CDs and MP3 Discs

The Time Display

The Time Display has four options:

Track elapsed – show the elapsed play time of the current track.

Track remain – shows the remaining play time for the current track.

Disc elapsed – shows the total time the current disc has played.

Disc remain – shows the remaining play time of the current disc. To change the time display:

1.Press INFO on the remote to bring up the Info Display.

2.Use the arrow buttons to highlight the Time icon.

3.Press the OK button to scroll through the time display choices. The time display will change with each press of the button.

Selecting a Play Mode

You can choose what order the tracks will play on a disc. The standard play mode is the default. To select another play mode, a disc must be in the DVD player.

There are three play mode options:

Standard Play: plays the disc’s tracks in their default order.

Random Play: plays the tracks in random order.

Program Play: Plays the tracks on the disc in the order you have programmed (you must create a play list to set the order you want the tracks on the disc to play in).

Random Play

To play chapters or tracks in random order:

1.Press the RANDOM button on the remote. The random display will appear to confirm your selection.

2.Press CLEAR to remove the display from the screen.

To return to standard play, press the RANDOM button again. The standard play display will appear to confirm your selection. Press CLEAR to remove the display from the screen.
