Playing Discs-basic play
≥Select the unit viewing channel (or the AV input) on the TV. ≥Switch [VHS/TV/DVD] to “DVD”.
≥Press [DVDÍ] to turn on the unit.
≥When “OUT [VHS/DVD]” in the “OPTION” menu is set to “MANUAL”, press [VHS/DVD OUTPUT] to switch it to disc video (lpage 12).
[1]Press [OPEN/CLOSE<] to open the disc tray.

≥The disc tray closes and play begins. It is normal for sound and pictures to take time to start.

≥If “ ” appears on the TV, the operation is prohibited by the unit or disc.
≥When the unit is first turned on and there is a disc loaded, it may start playing automatically.
≥When the whole disc has finished playing, the unit automatically stops. Some discs show a menu screen.
≥The disc keeps rotating when showing a still picture (pausing).
≥Pressing [6]/[: ] or [ 5]/[ 9] may take you to a menu screen depending on the disc or the portion played (e.g. Video CDs).
≥[VCD] You cannot move backwards during
