Set the DVD Player’s Digital Audio Out to PCM or Bitstream depending on the capabilities of your Receiver (see DVD Menu options > {Audio Out}). ( page 27)

Tip:

If the audio format of the Digital Output does not match the capabilities of your receiver, the receiver will produce a strong, distorted sound or no sound at all.

LEAD ON PAGE 2 BEFORE CONNECTION.

After everything is connected properly, plug in the AC mains lead to the mains socket.

Never make or change any connections with the standby/on switched on.

The socket outlet shall be installed near the equipment and easily accessible.

The mains plug of the power supply cord shall remain readily operable.

To completely disconnect this apparatus from the AC Mains, disconnect the power supply cord plug from AC receptacle.

This unit consumes a small amount of AC power even when turned off. In the interest of power conservation, if you will not be using this unit for an extended period of time, it can be disconnected.
