Problem

Solution

The DVD player does not start playback.

Picture freezes momentarily during playback.

Unable to select Progressive Scan on/ off.

Images from this DVD player do not appear on the television.

You forget your password.

When the following messages on the unit’s display.

(LOAD)

(STOP)

(OPEN)

(TITLE)

Insert a readable disc with the playback side facing down.

Check the disc type, color system (PAL/NTSC) and region code.

Check for any scratches or smudges on the disc.

Press SETUP to turn off the setup menu screen.

You may need to enter the password in order to change the parental rating level or to unlock the disc for playback.

Moisture may have condensed inside the system. Remove the disc and leave the system turned on for about an hour.

Disconnect the AC mains lead from the mains socket for a few minutes. Reconnect the AC mains lead and try to operate again as usual.

Check the disc for fingerprint/scratches and clean with a soft cloth wiping from center to edge.

Check that the output of the video signal is turn to {Progressive}.

Reset the DVD player to the factory defaults.

1)Press 8 on the DVD player to turn it on.

2)Press OPEN/CLOSE ; to open the disc tray.

3)Press and hold g and q on the DVD player at the same time for more than 5 seconds with the tray open.

All the settings return to the factory preset.

Loading the disc. Wait a moment.

Stopping the playback. Press PLAY/PAUSE q/h.

Insert a readable disc with the playback side facing down.

Press OPEN/CLOSE ; to close the tray.

Press e r w q to select the title, then press OK.
