-With the DVD format, you can hear a program’s soundtrack in the most accurate and realistic presentation possible, thanks to digital audio tech- nology. However, you may wish to compress the dynamic range of the audio output (the difference between the loudest sounds and the quietest ones).

This allows you to listen to a movie at a lower volume without losing clarity of sound. Set DRC to On for this effect.

1 Press the MENU button twice and then use the D / E button to select

AUDIO.

2 Press the G button and then use D / E button to select DRC.

3 Press the G button and then use D / E button to select On or Off.

4 Press the ENTER button.

5 Press the EXIT button to resume normal playback.

-Set to On only when a multi-channel karaoke DVD is playing. The karaoke channels on the disc mix into normal stereo sound.

-Vocal setting works when the Dolby Digital mode is set to “PCM” in the DVD menu.

2 Press the G button and then use D / E button to select Vocal.

3 Press the G button and then use D / E button to select On or Off.

4 Press the ENTER button.

5 Press the EXIT button to resume normal playback.
