To access or exit the menu

●Press MENU on the Remote Control.

➜For VCD with Playback Control (PBC) feature (version 2.0 only), PBC playback allows you to play Video CDs interactively, following the menu on the display.

●In stop mode, use the Numeric Keypad (0-9)to select a track and PBC will turn off.

➜Playback will start automatically.

●During playback, press MENU.

➜If PBC is ON, it will switch to OFF and continue playback.

➜If PBC is OFF, it will switch to ON and return to menu screen.

Stopping / Resuming playback

1During playback press 9 to stop.

➜ The DVD Player will memorize the point where playback of the disc was stopped.

2Press ÉÅ once on the front panel or É (PLAY) on the remote control to resume normal playback.

➜ The DVD Player will resume playback.

Note:

– This function will not operate if the disc is removed from the DVD Player.

●Press 9 twice to stop playback of the disc completely. When you press ÉÅon the front panel or É(PLAY) on the remote control again, playback of the disc will start from the beginning.

Pausing playback

1During playback, press Åon the remote control or ÉÅon the front panel.

➜ Playback will pause and sound will be muted.

2Press ÅorÉÅagain to resume.

Selecting track/chapter

●Press 4 once to return to the current chapter or track.

●Press 4 twice repeatedly to start playback from the previous chapter or track.

●Press ¢ to start playback from the next chapter or track.

●To go directly to any chapter/track, enter the chapter/track number using the Numerical Keypad (0-9).

Zoom

Zooming allows you to enlarge or reduce the video image during playback.

1Press ZOOM repeatedly to increase and decrease the playback video image.

2Press 1 / 2 / 3 / 4 to pan across the LCD screen.

Repeat

●To repeat a title, chapter or track, press REPEAT on the remote control.

➜ A Repeat Chapter/Title/All menu appears when you press REPEAT.

Notes:

–REPEAT function is not available for VCD 2.0 when PCB is on.

–For repeat function of an MP3 disc, see “Repeat (MP3/JPEG)”.

Repeat A-B

1Press A-Bat your chosen starting point.

2Press A-Bagain at your chosen end point.

➜The section A and B can be set only within the same chapter/track.

➜The section will now repeat continuously.

3 To cancel, press A-B.
