GENERAL SETUP MENU (Must be in the DVD mode):

Select GENERAL SETUP using the Navigation (√,®) buttons, then select/change the setup option as described on page 35.

When this option is set to ON, the screen saver will come on when the unit stops for approximately three minutes. When this option is OFF, the screen saver will not come on.

PASSWORD

To change the password, press the Navigation ( ) button to enter the password input section. Enter the®default password (“1234”) using the Number buttons if this is the first time entering the password, then press the ENTER/Play/Pause ( ) button to confirm. When the correct password is entered,®p the Lock icon will be opened.

Press the Navigation ( ) button again and enter the new password using the Number® buttons and then press the ENTER/Play/Pause ( ) button to confirm; the Lock icon will be locked again and®pthe password will be changed.

NOTE: If the old password is incorrect, the Lock icon will not be opened.

4:3 PS, Pan Scan: Video material formatted in the Pan Scan style is played back in that style (the left and right edges are cut off).

4:3 LB, Letterbox: Wide-screen images are shown on the screen with a black band at the top or bottom.

16:9, Wide: Select to fit the whole image on the screen.
