EXAMPLE:
This example shows you how to create a macro that; turns on the TV, sets the TV to the appropriate input, selects the receiver's input selector to LD, and turns on the LD player. All you have to do is insert the laser disc!
1Press TV > SHIFT > POWER to turn on the TV.
2Press FUNCTION SHIFT > "4" (TV / SAT. / VIDEO) to set the TV to the appropriate video input.
3Press VIDEO twice to select the LD player registered at VIDEO 2.
4Press SHIFT and POWER to turn on the LD player.
•In order to allow verification of the remote control mode, the name of the selected input appears in the receiver's display when the VIDEO, AUDIO or TV key is pressed. When the VIDEO or AUDIO key is pressed the receiver's input also changes.
5Press the MACRO key so that the backlight flashes twice.
•The macro is stored at the locations specified in step 3. If another macro was previously stored at the same location, it is erased.
Repeat steps 1 through 5 to program up to 3 macros.
This completes the macro programming procedure.

Deleting a setup code
Perform each step within 5 seconds.
1Hold down the ENT key until the backlight flashes twice.
•At this time all inputs become available regardless of any earlier registration.
2Select the component to be deleted.
Press the VIDEO, AUDIO, or TV key repeatedly to select the desired component.
•Example 1 : To delete the registration of the component connected to the VIDEO 1 jacks, select "VIDEO 1".
3Enter the 3 digit code "991".
4Hold down the ENT key until the backlight flashes twice.
•To resume all of the factory settings, proceed step 1, then enter “981”.
Checking a setup code
Perform each step within 5 seconds.
1Hold down the ENT key until the backlight flashes twice.

2Select the component with setup code you want to check. Press the VIDEO, AUDIO, or TV key repeatedly to select the desired component.
3Enter the 3 digit code "990".
•The backlight flashes twice immediately after the "0" is input to confirm input.

4Press the 1 key and count the number of times the backlight blinks. This is the first number of the 4 digit setup code.
•If the backlight does not blink, the first digit in the setup code is 0.
5Press the 2 key and count the number of times the backlight blinks. This is the second number of the 4 digit setup code.
•If the backlight does not blink, the second digit in the setup code is 0.
6Press the 3 key and count the number of times the backlight blinks. This is the third number of the 4 digit setup code.
•If the backlight does not blink, the third digit in the setup code is 0.
7Press the 4 key and count the number of times the backlight blinks. This is the fourth number of the 4 digit setup code.
•If the backlight does not blink, the fourth digit in the setup code is 0.
