Random Play
You may play the Tracks of an Audio CD in Random order instead of the order in which they are recorded (1,2,3...). You can also use this feature for JPEG and MP3 files.
1 With the unit in DVD mode and play stopped, press
MODE repeatedly until the RANDOM screen appears.

2 While the RANDOM screen appears, press PLAY B. The Tracks will play in random order. After all the Tracks play once, play will stop.
Programs
You can set Audio CD Tracks or MP3/JPEG files to play in a special order by following these steps.
1 With the unit in DVD mode and play stopped, press
MODE repeatedly until the PROGRAM screen appears.

Audio CD example
2 Press o or p to select a track you want to play, then press ENTER. Press CLEAR to erase the last Track in the Program if you make an error. Additional Tracks may be on other screens. Press p or o to see all the Tracks.
Repeat this step until you have selected all the Tracks you wish to play in the Program.
A Program can have a maximum of 99 Tracks.
3 Press PLAY B. The Tracks will play once in the order you set. Turning off the TV/DVD or opening the disc tray will erase the Program.
You can start Program play only while in the Program screen. You cannot alter a Program during play.

Helpful Hints
•You cannot use the Number but- tons or SEARCH MODE to select Tracks while playing a Program.
Use NEXT i or PREV j.
•You cannot combine random play with programmed play.
•To play a Program or one of its Tracks repeatedly, press REPEAT so TRACK or ALL (all Tracks in the Program) appears. Choose OFF to stop repeat play.
