TO CHANGE THE PARENTAL LEVEL

1 Press SETUP/MENU in the stop mode or				No Disc.		or
Press	or	to select “Parental”, then press
SELECT/ENTER.
2 Press	or	to select
			Parental
“Password”, then press
or SELECT/ENTER.			Password		On
			Parental Level	1
3 Press number buttons
			Password
(0–9)to enter the password
you have stored.			Password		1234

• If you input a wrong number, press CANCEL.

4 Press SELECT/ENTER.
				Parental
The password is now Off.
				Password	Off
				Parental Level	1
5 Press		or	to select
				Parental
“Parental		Level”. Then		Password	Off
press		or	SELECT/
				Parental Level	1
ENTER.The Parental Level
screen is displayed.				￿￿￿￿￿￿￿￿￿￿￿￿￿￿￿￿￿￿￿￿
6 Press	or		to select a	￿￿￿￿￿￿￿￿￿￿￿￿￿
level from Off or 1–8 and
then press			or SELECT/
ENTER.

NOTE:

Do not forget the password. If you forget the password, contact the dealer that you purchased the unit from.

7 Press	or	to select	Parental
			Password	Off
“Password” and then press
			Parental Level	8
or SELECT/ENTER.
8 Press number buttons (0–			Password
			Password	1234
9) to enter a 4-digit pass-
word.

Note: Make sure that you select a password number that you will remember easily.

9 Press SELECT/ENTER.	Parental
	Password	On
The parental level is now	Parental Level	8
changed and locked.

•If you want to return to the previous menu, press or

RETURN.

10 Press SETUP/MENU to remove the parental control screen.
