Changing Angles [DVD]

Some DVDs contain scenes which have been shot simultaneously from a number of different angles. For these discs, the same scene can be viewed from these different angles with the ANGLE button. (This feature depends upon inclusion on the disc)

1 Press ANGLE during playback.

The current angle will appear.

2 Press ANGLE repeatedly until the desired angle is selected.

Note

=This function only works for titles having scenes recorded at different angles.

=Depending on the DVD, you may not be able to change the angles using this button even if multi-angles are recorded on the DVD.

Changing Subtitle languages [DVD]

You can select the language when playing back a disc recorded with multi-lingual subtitles.

1 Press SUBTITLE during playback.

SUBTITLE 1/8: ENGLISH

The current subtitle will appear.

2 Press SUBTITLE repeatedly until your

SUBTITLE TITLE ANGLE

desired language appears.

SUBTITLE 3/8: FRENCH

The on-screen display will disappear after a few seconds

3 If you want to turn off the subtitle, press

SUBTITLE OFF

SUBTITLE repeatedly until “SUBTITLE

 

OFF” appears.

 

Note

=This operation works only with discs on which multiple subtitle languages are recorded.

=If desired language is not selected after pressing the SUBTITLE button several times, the language is not recorded on the disc.

=The selected subtitle language is cancelled when you open the disc tray or turn the power off.

=In some cases, the subtitle language is not changed to the selected one immediately.
