Once the initial settings have been completed, the player can always be operated under the same conditions (especially DVDs). The settings will be retained in the memory even after switching to standby mode.

NORMAL/LB: Select this mode when connecting to a conventional TV. When playing back a wide screen-DVD disc, it displays the wide picture with black bands at the top and bottom of screen.

WIDE: Select this mode when connecting to wide-screen TV. A wide screen picture is displayed in full size.

=Press the AV/SETUP button to exit setup menu after completion of initial settings.

=The "6" mark on the screen indicates that there are some items that cannot be displayed on screen. To display the concealed items, press the "6" button.

=This function may not operate on all discs.
