THE REGION CODE FOR THE UNIT IS 1.

Since it is very usual for DVD movies to be released at different times in different regions of the world, all players have region codes and disks can have an optional region code. If you load a disk of a different region code to your player, you will see the region code notice on the screen. The disk will not play, and should be unloaded.

NOTE TO CABLE INSTALLER IN THE USA:

This reminder is provided to call your attention to Article 820-40 of te NEC that provides guidelines for proper grounding and, in particular, specifies that the cable ground shall be connected to the grounding system of the building, as close to the point of cable entry as practical.
