4.HDTV OPERATION

Power Menu

The “Power” menu allows you to manage various power-related functions to simplify your viewing experience and save power.

Power Menu Features

 

Feature Descriptions

 

 

 

Lets you turn the DPMS (Display Power Management

DPMS Mode

Signaling) On/Off; when “On,” the display goes into Standby

mode if there’s no incoming signal from the selected input for

 

 

1-, 5- or 10-Minute intervals

 

Sets the High Definition LCD TV to turn off after a specified

 

amount of time:

Sleep

60 minutes

 

NOTE: The HDTV will take a few seconds to return from Sleep

 

mode.

 

Power On Plug

Enables/disables feature that allows your HDTV to

automatically turn back when power is restored

 

 

Sets the power boot up mode:

Power Mode

ξ E. Saver—takes longer to come back from Standby but

 

requires less power

 

ξ Normal—faster return from Standby but requires more

 

 

power

LED

Turns the HDTV’s LED on and off
