Using memory card

Pre-recording

You can record the picture slightly before the point where you pressed the record button, enabling you to record just the scene you wanted.

1 Press CARD and the card mode screen displays.

2 Press MENU and the MENU screen displays.

3 Press c/dto select “Card”.

4 Press a/bto select “Video Setup” and then press ENTER.

Protecting/unprotecting motion picture files

You can protect any file you do not want to delete.

1 Repeat steps 1 to 4 in Pre-recording.

2 Press a/bto select “Edit”, and then press

ENTER.

You can specify one file or all files to replay repeatedly.

4 Press a/b/c/dto select the file you want to protect, and then press ENTER.

Protect mark () displays.

Select the file with a protect mark and press ENTER to unprotect it.

5 Repeat the operation in step 4.

6 After setting the files you want to protect, press RETURN to return to MENU.
