There are other ways to change channel:

Use the browsing bar at the bottom of the screen (see below)

Use the on-screen channel list (see page 17)

Use the programme guide (see page 18)

CHANGING THE VOLUME

You can increase or decrease the volume by using the and buttons on the remote control. The sound is silenced by pressing

the button and restored to its previous level by pressing the button again.

BROWSING BAR

Whenever you change channel, the Plaza HD•T2 briefly displays a browsing bar at the bottom of the screen that contains information about the current channel and programme. You can press the button at anytime to display the bar again.

It shows:

the name and number of the channel

the name of the programme you are watching

the start and finish time of the programme

the progress through the programme

the date and time

HINT: You can also display the browsing bar by pressing or on the remote control while you are watching TV.

The information bar may also display symbols to indicate:

The programme is in High Definition.

Subtitles are available.

Audio Description is available. Dolby Digital audio is available.

Parental guidance is advised as the programme contains language or scenes that may not be suitable for children

(press for further details).

The channel is locked (see the Advanced Use section).

An HD version is available on another channel (press for further details).
