Batterijen hebben een „laadcyclus“

Al naar gelang hoe lang u uw ontvanger heeft gebruikt, moet de batterij ook gedurende een bepaalde tijd geladen worden. Een eenvoudige „vuistregel“ helpt u hierbij:

Bedrijfsduur x 3 = laadduur

Voorbeeld

Accu’s laden

U dient te vermijden dat de batterijen zo lang worden gebruikt, tot deze volkomen leeg zijn. Deze batterijen zijn dan „diepontladen” en verlieren hun opslagcapaciteit. Dit gebeurt vooral snel wanneer deze in ontladen toestand gedurende lange tijd blijven liggen. Laat u door twee regels leiden:

Wanneer het batterijvermogen achteruit gaat, dient u de batterij te laden Verder luisteren ev. met de reservebatterij.

Na ieder gebruik, het doet er niet toe of geheel of gedeeltelijk ontladen, wordt de batterij onmiddellijk weer geladen.

Voor het eerste gebruik moet de accu 24 uur in een laadschacht van de zender geladen worden. Attentie: de accu wordt ook geladen wanneer de zender uitgeschakeld is, maar aan het net aangesloten blijft.!

Milieubescherming en gezondheid

Apparaten die op oplaadbare batterijen werken, ontzien het milieu. Deze energiebron kan vele malen bijgeladen worden, gewone batterijen worden echter na het gebruik tot speciaal afval. Wanneer er eens een oplaadbare batterij defect, of door diepontlading beschadigd is, wordt deze gerecycled: uw vakhandelaar, waar u de batterij heeft gekocht, neemt deze ook weer terug.
