4 Connections

4.1 Outdoor unit

Your television set has to be adjusted to the transmission channel of the receiver. Select a free channel on your TV set and adjust it to channel 39.

If channel 39 is occupied by a channel that can be received via antenna, you can adjust a different transmission channel in the range of 21 to 45.

a)Use an appropriate coax cable to connect the receiver’s input LNB 1 with the receiving equipment’s LNB input. You may connect a second LNB to LNB input 2. For further details, see chapter 5, „installation“.

b) Connect the ferrite polarizer to the POLARIZER terminals marked FERR. (You

polarizer models to the terminals marked PULSE, +5V and

to set it to standby mode,

e)Use a SCART cord to connect the receiver (SCART TV) with the TV (SCART input). If your television does not switch to AV operation (audio/video) automatically, you will need to switch over manually.

f) If your television set is not equipped with a SCART connector you can also use an antenna cable to connect the

TV output of the modulator with the TV’s antenna input. Plug the cable coming from the antenna in the modulator’s antenna input.

4.3 Amplifier

g)In order to achieve maximum sound quality the receiver can be connected to a Hifi amplifier. Use an adequate amplifier input (e.g. CD, Aux; Warning, the „phono“ input is not appropriate!) to link it with the receiver’s audio R/L cinch jacks.
