Modes of operation

Picture in Picture (PIP)

PIP can be displayed as Standard PIP, iPIP or Split Screen by default.

Standard PIP functions:

The Standard PIP displays a PIP image in the presently displayed TV image.

PIP Show/hide PIP picture

The status of the PIP mode i.e. PIP channel selection or PIP scan is shown in the status display in a colored square before the channel name and appears while changing the channel or on pressing the END key.

If the PIP status is green, you can select the PIP channel:

P+

Channel up/down or direct

V— OK V+

P–

PIP image as static image

The PIP status must be green. If it is not, press the green button.

Then press the red button; the PIP image becomes a static image.

Press the red button again for a moving image.

Changing the channel of the TV image

 

The PIP status must be white.

 

If it is not, press the green

P+

button.

V— OK V+ Then select the station as

 

normal.

P–

 

PIP channel scan

The PIP status must be green. If it is not, press the green button.

Start the PIP scan with the blue button. The PIP status turns blue.

The PIP channel now changes automatically. Stop the station scan with the blue button. The PIP status turns green again.

Interchanging PIP image/TV image

The PIP status must be green. If it is not, press the green button.

Interchange the pictures with the yellow button.

Position of the PIP image

The PIP status must be green.

Call the PIP menu with the

MENU button.

The image on the right pertains to the PIP image and has no sound. TV image and PIP image are separated from each other by a colored line (PIP status).

Switch on the PIP menu with the MENU button.

iPIP function:

In iPIP the presently displayed TV image becomes the PIP image. For the TV image, select another channel and retain the PIP image.

In iPIP, the PIP status is orange-colored.

PIP Show/hide PIP picture

Also read the info text; press the INFO key. The PIP image changes back into TV image, when you switch off PIP.
