V304 — TROUBLESHOOTING (ENGINE)

SYMPTON	POSSIBLE PROBLEM	SOLUTION
	Speed control lever is in "STOP" position?	Set speed control lever to "START" position.
	STOP solenoid is in the "STOP" position?	Set stop solenoid to the "START" position.
		Adjust and lubricate if necessary.
	No Fuel reaching injection pump?	Add fuel. Check entire fuel system.
	Defective fuel pump?	Replace fuel pump.
	Fuel filter clogged?	Replace fuel filter and clean tank.
Engine will not start or start is	Faulty fuel supply line?	Replace or repair fuel line.
delayed, although engine can
		Check piston, cylinder and valves. Adjust or

	Fuel injector not working correctly?	Repair or replace injector in accordance with
		engine repair manual.
