EMERGENCY NOTIFICATION SETUP
The DX4104 Emergency Notification feature sends an emergency report to the designated computer on which the Emergency Agent application is installed. The Emergency Notification feature is configured and operates independently of the mail feature. Refer to Notification Setup on page 63 for more information.
The Emergency Notification feature has the following guidelines:
•Notification: Turns the notification feature on and off.
•IP Address/Port: The remote computer’s IP address and port. Supported characters include 0.0.0.0 to 255.255.255.255.
•SMTP Port No.: The default port is 9003. Supported values include 025 to 65535.
To set up emergency notification:
1.On the toolbar, click the Setup icon

2.Click the Network icon

3.In the Emergency section:
a.Select the Notification check box.
b.In the IP address/Port box, type the destination computer’s IP address.
c.Repeat step 3b for each additional computer.
4.To save the changes, click the Live icon 
, and then click OK.
