SYSTEM PAGE
The System page has the following guidelines:
•NTP: Selects that the unit’s time be synchronized with the Network Time Protocol (NTP) server.
•Date/Time: Allows you to select date and time format.
•Server: Allows you select the NTP server.
•Sound: Allows you configure the unit to issue a sound in response to the following:
–Button: Sounds a single beep when a front panel or remote control button is pressed.
–Alarm: Sounds a continuous beep approximately once per second until the alarm event is acknowledged.
–Motion: Sounds a continuous beep approximately once per second until the motion event is acknowledged.
–System: Sounds a single beep when a system action occurs.
NOTE: Events are acknowledged at the DX4104 server. Refer to the DX4104 Server Operation/Configuration manual for more information.
•Update: Allows you to update the system software, PTZ protocols, and the update media.
•User: Allows you to create and administer user accounts.
•Hard Disk: Allows you select the HDD overwrite method and set the
