PTZ MODE

The DX4104 supports up to four serial PTZ cameras. Multiple PTZ cameras can be connected and controlled individually by daisy-chaining the camera connections. The unit also allows you to assign each camera a PTZ control address.

The DX4104 allows you to configure the following PTZ settings for each camera:

Channel: Selects the channel (01 to 04) for PTZ configuration.

Port: Sets the communication port for the camera: NONE, DATA1, or DATA2.

Address: Sets the camera’s PTZ control address: 0 to 255.

Protocol: Sets the PTZ protocol for all cameras on the port. Multiple cameras assigned to a port must use the same protocol. Table B lists the supported device protocols.

Baud Rate: Sets the baud rate for sending data to all cameras on the selected port: 1200, 2400, 4800, 9600, and 19200.

To set up the PTZ mode:

1.From the Camera menu, click PTZ.

2.Click the Channel box, and select the channel to configure.

3.Click the boxes to enter their settings.

4.Repeat step 2 and 3 to configure the other channels.

5.Click Close.

6.Click OK.
