11 Press the PROGRAM button to set the program in memory.

12Press the POWER button to turn off the VCR.

The delayed recording indicator will display on the VCR.

This tells you that the VCR will automatically record at the times and dates you have programmed.

When you have set up all the timed recordings you want:

Don'tforget to load a videocassette (with the safety tab still attached) to record on.

If you have installed a cable box (see page 26), turn on the cable box and select the channel you want to record on the cable box (08 in this case) before recording starts.

To stop recording while in the timed recording mode: 1 Press POWER button,

2 Press the STOP button within 10 seconds.

This can be done either on the VCR or with the remote control.

Important: Your timed recording settings take effect when you turn off the power on the VCR.
