Check all the TV and VCR functions.

B. Advanced Hookup (Cable Box to Unscramble All Channels)

Use this hookup for slightly improved picture quality and more convenient operation - use of VCR/TV button is not required.

1.Connect as shown.

This connection requires additional accessories which are not provided.

2.Plug in power cords of VCR, TV, and cable box. You will tune the TV to its video input to watch the VCR. Illustration of Hookup

If your cable box has audio/video output jacks, you can also connect the audio/video output of the cable box and the audio/video input of the VCR. With this connection, press the AVX button to select L1 as the input channel for the VCR to receive audio/video signal from the cable box (see page 48).
