PROTECTION PLAN CONDITIONS

A - This contract is exclusively for products manufactured and sold by Hitachi (HSC) Canada Inc., hereinafter called "Hitachi", purchased in Canada from a dealer duly accredited by Hitachi. The program is available only for products covered by an original validated Hitachi warranty given at the time of the purchase.

B - Hitachi will make repairs to the product mentioned in this plan, parts and labour charges included, until the expiry date of this plan.

C - THIS PROTECTION PLAN WILL BE IN FORCE ONLY AFTER EXPIRATION

OF THE NORMAL PURCHASER'S WARRANTY. During the normal warranty the only valid proof required for servicing the product is the Hitachi GOLD CARD or the bill of purchase. The Protection Plan Card cannot be used as proof of warranty.

Only after the expiration of the normal warranty, the owner can have the product repaired, without charge at any authorized Hitachi Service Center upon presentation of the Protection Plan Card.

D - This Protection Plan is applicable to the product mentioned excluding the accessories such as cables, batteries, etc.

E-THIS PROTECTION PLAN DOES NOT COVER:

(1)Damage caused by incorrect use or negligence, unauthorized alteration, improper storage or repairs done by an unauthorized service depot;
