Set Stations (B)

Set station names other than the ones registered in your recorder.

Perform steps 1 and 2 of "Storing Channels Manually" on page 34 to access the Channel List screen and then perform step 1 and 2 of "Set Stations (A)" on the left before continuing.

SELECT STATION NAME CHARACTER

1	Press PUSH JOG%until
	the first letter of the station				TV
	name begins blinking.
		PR	CH ID	FINE	SYSTEM
		06	CH45 ARD	+/–	D/K
		[5°] : A-Z, 0-9
		[°°] : CURSOR +=
			: OK
		[MENU] : EXIT
	ENTER NEW CHARACTER
	Press PUSH JOG %Þ to cycle through the characters					%
	(A–Z, 0–9, –, *, +,[	(space) ) and stop when the
2 desired character is indicated, then press PUSH JOG
	to enter. Enter the remaining characters the same way
	(maximum of 4).
	After entering all characters, press OK.
	● The Channel List screen appears.
	● If you make a mistake, press PUSH JOG%until the
	incorrect character begins blinking. Then enter the
	correct character by pressing PUSH JOG %Þ.
	CLOSE CHANNEL LIST
	SCREEN
3 Press MENU.

TV System Selection - When you see the picture but hear no audio

Perform steps 1 and 2 of "Storing Channels Manually" on page 34 to access the Channel List screen before continuing.

	SELECT CHANNEL
1	POSITION
	Press PUSH JOG%Þ until the channel position you
	want to change its TV system begins blinking, then
	press OK. The Manual Channel Set screen appears.
2	SELECT TV SYSTEM
	Press PUSH JOG%until TV system setting (D/K or B/G)
	begins blinking and then press PUSH JOG %Þ to select
	the appropriate TV system. Refer to the table on page
	34 also.
	RETURN TO CHANNEL LIST
3	SCREEN
	Press OK.
	● The Channel List screen appears.
	● Repeat steps 1 through 3 as necessary.
	CLOSE CHANNEL LIST
4	SCREEN
	Press MENU.
