NICAM Stereo and Bilingual Broadcasts

 

 

 

 

 

 

 

This VCR is equipped with a digital stereo sound decoder (NICAM) which makes

normal selection hi fi l lLr should normally be selected. In this mode, Hi-Fi stereo tapes are played back in stereo and the normal audio track is played back automatically for tapes which only have normal audio.

recording If the NICAM stereo signal is poor or unavailable, the VCR will automatically record normal audio onto both the Hi-Fi and normal audio tracks. This will eliminate possible audio interference.
