To Record Monaural Pro- grams

If the quality of stereo sound is poor, perform the following steps before starting recording.

			ACCESS MAIN MENU
	1		SCREEN
	1		Press MENU as many times as necessary.
			ACCESS FUNCTION SET
	2		SCREEN
			Place the arrow next to "FUNCTION SET" by pressing
			CH5° or PUSH JOG5°, then press OK.
			ACCESS AUDIO SELECT
	3		SCREEN
			Place the arrow next to "AUDIO SELECT" by pressing
			CH5° or PUSH JOG5°, then press OK.
	4		SELECT MODE
			Place the arrow next to			AUDIO SELECT
			"MONO" by pressing			AUDIO SELECT
			"MONO" by pressing
			CH5	°	or PUSH JOG5 .
				°	°	STEREO/BILINGUAL
						=MONO
						PRESS (5,°) TO SELECT
						PRESS (MENU) TO END

			RETURN TO NORMAL
	5		SCREEN
	5		Press MENU as many times as necessary.

NOTES:

●If you record a builingual program with "AUDIO SELECT" set to "MONO", only the main audio will be recorded.

●If "AUDIO SELECT" is set to "MONO", stereo and bilingual broadcasts being received will be output in monaural, even though the relevant indicator, STEREO or BILINGUAL, appears on the screen.
