Letting your VCR find your remote for you...

Press the POWER button on the VCR to turn on the VCR. Your remote control beeps and LOCATING REMOTE appears on-screen. The remote control will beep for about 30 seconds.

VCR/TVSPEED MEMORY

(The exception is when you plug the VCR power cord into the wall outlet for the first time.) Or, press any button on the remote control to stop the beeping.

If another remote control beeps...

The VCR may find other remote controls. If this occurs, follow the steps below to program the VCR to find only its remote con- trol.

Press the VCR button, then press the MENU button.

Press the PLAY/o button or the STOP/p button to select REMOTE LOCATOR, then press the F.FWD/B button.

Helpful Hint
