operate your TV. If the remote control doesn't operate your TV now, find your brand of TV on the list at right, and follow the steps below to program your remote control accordingly.

Point the remote control at your TV and press the TV button. Then, press the POWER button. If your TV comes on, try the other TV buttons (see pages 12 - 13for

.details). If your TV doesn't come on, or if the other buttons don't work, go to step 2.

Press the TV button, then the POWER but- ton, to see if the remote control operates your TV. If it doesn't, go to step 2.

Use the Number buttons to place your TV's code (from the list below) in the remote

Press and release the MUTE button.

Within thirty seconds after releasing the MUTE button, press and release the TV button.
