TO WATCH ONE CHANNEL AND RECORD ANOTHER

 

 

 

 

 

 

 

Follow the procedure all the way through the

recording TV programs.

 

 

Make sure you have the VCR connected properly

 

 

 

 

 

 

as shown on pages 10 to 15.

 

 

 

 

 

 

 

Set VCR to the TV mode by pressing the TV/VCR

 

 

key so that VCR indicator disappears.

 

 

 

 

 

 

 

Then select the TV channel you want to watch by

using TV channel selector on the TV receiver.

 

TO STOP RECORDING

Press the STOP key to STOP the recording.

NOTE:

Since the VCR has its own TV tuner, it is not necessary to turn on the TV in order to make a recording. Turning on the TV merely allows confirmation of proper channel settings on your VCR.

TO RECORD A CABLE PROGRAM

PREPARATION

First, turn on the TV and set it to your VCR channel.

Load a cassette into VCR, making sure that the safety tab is intact.

 

The power will turn on automatically.

 

 

 

 

Select the CHANNEL SET mode from the MENU screen and select the CABLE mode by pressing the

number key 3.

Press the number keys or the CH/TRK or key to select the channel you want to watch and

 

record.

 

 

 

Also select the speed at which you want to record – SP or EP – by using the Speed key.

Press the REC/OTR key and the recording will start.

The REC indicator appears on the Display Panel.
