| Set VCR to the TV mode by pressing the TV/VCR |

|
TO STOP RECORDING
Press the STOP key to STOP the recording.
NOTE:
Since the VCR has its own TV tuner, it is not necessary to turn on the TV in order to make a recording. Turning on the TV merely allows confirmation of proper channel settings on your VCR.
TO RECORD A CABLE PROGRAM
PREPARATION
First, turn on the TV and set it to your VCR channel.
1 | Load a cassette into VCR, making sure that the safety tab is intact. |

| Select the CHANNEL SET mode from the MENU screen and select the CABLE mode by pressing the |

| number key 3. |

3 | Press the number keys or the CH/TRK or key to select the channel you want to watch and |

| Also select the speed at which you want to record – SP or EP – by using the Speed key. |

| Press the REC/OTR key and the recording will start. |
