Battery operation & installation

1.Remove the Battery cover on the base of the unit by pushing the ribbed tab in the direction of the arrow.

2.Insert 4 x LR14 (C size) batteries into the battery compartment. Take care to ensure all batteries are inserted with the correct polarity as shown inside the battery compartment.

3.Replace the Battery cover.

Batteries are necessary to maintain the clock and timer memories in the event of a mains power failure.

Reduced power, distortion and a 'stuttering' sound are all signs that the batteries may need replacing.

We would recommend for economy that the C9950 is used on the mains whenever possible with battery operation for occasional or stand-by use only.

Carrying handle

Your cassette recorder has a handle for travel purposes. To access the handle place your fingers in the well underneath and to the right hand side of the recorder and pull gently.
