Using the Remote Control

Aim the remote control towards the IR receiver on the front panel. The remote control can operate at a 30-degree angle from the front of the unit.

If you try to perform an action that is not permitted at the moment, the DVD playerdisplays the following symbol on the screen:

This is typically displayed if a key is pressed during disc loading or ejecting, during the introduction section of a disc, or if you attempt to access certain sections of the Setup menu while the disc is in Play, Pause, or “pre-stop” mode. Also, this symbol will be displayed whenever the loaded DVD disc disallows the attempted action.
