Using the photo disc

Playing a photo disc

The recorder can be used to play discs with JPEG files. Before playback, read the “Notes on JPEG files“ on the right.

1.Insert the disc and close the drawer.

The photo menu (overview) will appear on the screen.

6. Use / to select the “Full View“ option, and press OK. Information and user guidance regarding the current image is displayed in the lower part of the screen. You can toggle this bar on and off using OK.

Notes about JPEG files

Depending on the size and number of JPEG files, it can take several minutes to read the disc. If nothing appears on the screen after a few minutes, some files are too large. Reduce the resolution of the JPEG files to less than 4 Megapixels and burn

Due to different recording formats or the con- dition of the CD, some discs may be incompatible.

Note: If the symbol appears in the photo menu, these JPEG files cannot be displayed.

When using burning software to burn JPEG files onto a CD-R, all the selected files must have the “.jpg“ or “.jpeg“ extension before they will be burned onto the CD.

If the files have the “.jpe“ extension, they must be renamed to “.jpg“ or “.jpeg“.

This recorder cannot read file names without the “.jpg” or “.jpeg” extension, even if the files appear as JPEG images in Windows Explorer.
