General Setup

TV Display

Selects the aspect ratio of the connected TV.

[Pan Scan] Select when a standard 4:3 TV is connected. The video material formatted in the Pan & Scan style is played back in that style (Both sides of the picture are cut off).

[Letter Box] Select when a standard 4:3 TV is connected. Displays theatrical images with masking bars above and below the picture.

[Wide] Select when a 16:9 wide TV is connected.

Last Memory

This recorder memorizes the user settings for the last disc that you have viewed. Settings remain in memory even if you remove the disc from the recorder or switch off the recorder. If you load a disc that had its settings memorized, the latest stop position is automatically recalled. To use this effect, set [Last Memory] option to [On].

Hookup and Settings

Angle Mark

Some DVDs feature scenes filmed at different angles, which you can select using On-Screen Display. You can have the recorder alert you when multiple angles are available by displaying an Angle Mark icon on screen.

[On] Displays an Angle Mark icon on screen.

[Off] Angle Mark icon is not displayed.

OSD (On-Screen Display) Language

Select a language for the Setup menu and on-screen display.

Clock Setting

1.Select [Clock Setting] option on the [Initial Setup] menu.

2.Press ENTER.

3.Enter the necessary information for date and time. b / B (left/right): Moves the cursor to the previous or next column.

v / V (up/down) or number buttons: Changes the setting at the current cursor position.

4.Press ENTER to confirm your setting.
