Deleting Chapter Markers

You can delete chapter markers.

1.Use b / B / v / V to choose a chapter on the [Chap Edit] menu then press ENTER. Repeat this step to select additional chapter.

The menu options appears on the right side of the screen.

2.Select [Del Mark] from the options.

3.Press ENTER.

The confirm message for deleting will appear.

4.Use b / B to select [OK] then press ENTER. The selected chapter mark(s) is deleted.

Hide a Chapter

You can skip playing chapters without deleting from the disc.

1.Use b / B / v / V to choose a chapter on the Chapter List menu then press ENTER.

The menu options appears on the right side of the screen.

2.Select [Hide] from the options.

3.Press ENTER.

The [Hide] appears on the right of the chapter number.

Note:

If you select a hidden chapter on the [Chap Edit] menu, you can ‘unhide’ it by choosing [Unhide] option on the menu. After doing that, you are able to play back the chapter.

Overwriting Recording +RW

To overwrite a new video recording on a previously recorded title, follow these steps. This feature is not available for DVD+Rs, that always record at the end of the Disc.

1.Press MENU/LIST to display the Title List menu.

2.Use v / V to choose a title you want to overwrite.

3.Select input source you want to record (TV channel or AV input).

4.Press REC (z) to start overwrite recording. Overwrite recording starts from the start point of the title.

5.Press STOP (x) to stop the overwrite recording.

Notes:

This function is not available when [Overwrite] option is set to [Off] in the [Initial Setup] menu (page14).

If the protected title is selected, confirm message will appear. Select [Yes] then press ENTER to start overwrite recording.
