Renaming a Title VR Video +RW

You can name Original and Playlist titles independently.

On the Title List menu, use v V b B to choose

1 the title you want to name then press ENTER. Options appear on the left side of the menu.

2 Use v/V to select the ‘Rename’ option then press ENTER.

The Keyboard menu appears.

e.g., If you select “Rename” on Title List-Original menu:

Delete

Protect

Edit Rename

Playlist Add Delete Part

Copy to VCR

3a character then press ENTER to confirm your

selection. Refer to step 5 as shown on page 26 (Disc Label).Enter a name for the title. Use v V b B to select

4 Choose OK then press ENTER to save the name and return to the previous menu screen.

5 Press RETURN (O) repeatedly to exit the menu.

•Names can be up to 32 characters long.

•For discs formatted on a different DVD Recorder, you will see only a limited character set.

•When recording on DVD-R, DVD+R or DVD+RW, the entered name is displayed on the DVD player only after finalizing.

Combining Two Chapters

VR +RW +R

Use this function to combine two adjacent Playlist or Original chapters into one.

1chapter of the two chapters you want to com- bine then press ENTER.

The Chapter List options appear on the left side of the menu.

The confirm message for combining will appear.

After pressing ENTER, the new, updated menu is displayed.Use v / V to select the “Combine” option then

This function will not work under the following con- ditions:

•If there is only one chapter within the title.

•If a part from the original title was erased.

•If two chapters are created from different titles.

•If the order of the chapters was changed in the orig- inal title.
