6.3.2 Accessing your DVR via QuickTime

Access to the DVR via QuickTime will allow you to log into the DVR and monitor the live images only.

1.Ensure you are running the most up-to-date version of QuickTime. If you need to update, you can grab an update from the Internet, at www.apple.com/quicktime

2.Open your QuickTime window.

3.From the File menu, choose Open URL in New Player…

4.Key in the address of your DVR (see 6.1)

5.Click OK.

6.A popup window will appear, asking you for the username and password (both “admin” by default).

7.The login may take a moment to process. When it does, you will be taken directly to the live view page.
