aPOWER button and indicator Switches the Recorder ON and OFF.

Lights green when the Recorder is turned on.

bDisc Tray (DVD deck) Insert a disc here.

cZ OPEN/CLOSE

Opens or closes the disc tray.

dCassette Compartment (VCR deck) Insert a video cassette here.

eZ EJECT

Ejects the tape in the VCR deck.

fAV 2 IN

- VIDEO /AUDIO (Left/Right)

hRemote Sensor

Point the Recorder Remote Control here.

iDVD/VCR indicator

Indicates the active DVD or VCR deck.

jDVD/VCR

Toggles control between the DVD deck and the VCR deck.

kz (REC) button Starts recording.

Press repeatedly to set the recording time.

lN (PLAY)

To play back a disc or tape.

mx (STOP)

Connect the audio/video output of an external source (Audio system, TV/ Monitor, VCR, Camcorder, etc.).

- S-VIDEO IN

Connect the S-Video output of an external source (TV/ Monitor, VCR, Camcorder, etc.).

gDisplay window

Shows the current status of the Recorder.

Stops playback.

nCH (v / V)

Scans up or down through memorized chan- nels.

oDUB (DUBBING)

Press to copy DVD to VCR (or VCR to DVD).

LOCK function

The Lock feature disables the front panel buttons to prevent children from tampering with this unit. Simply press LOCK on the remote control to toggle this feature on and off.
