Basic TV Connections

You can choose one of four ways to connect the DVD Recorder+VCR to your TV (in order of increasing picture quality): 1) RF, 2) Audio/Video, 3) S-Video, 4) Component Video/Progressive Scan. Choose only one of these connection methods.

RF Coaxial Connections

1 Connect the supplied RF coaxial cable from the RF OUT jack to the ANT. IN jack on your TV as shown.

2 Tune your TV to channel 3 or 4.

To change the RF out channel to 3 or 4, see Modulator Out on page 31. 3 Continue with Initial Setup on page 17.

1 Connect the supplied audio (red/white) and video (yellow) cable from the Audio/Video Out jacks to the Audio/Video Inputs on your TV as shown.

2 Tune your TV to its video input.

3 Continue with Intial Setup on page 17.
