Enhanced Audio Connections

For enhanced audio quality, you can connect the DVD Recorder+VCR to a stereo system or digital amplifier/receiver.

Stereo/Receiver Connections

1 Connect the supplied audio cable (red and white) from the Audio Out jacks to the Audio inputs on your stereo or 2-channel analog receiver as shown.

2 Set your stereo/receiver to its appropriate input to hear the DVD Recorder+VCR.

3 Continue with Intial Setup on page 17.

Digital Receiver Connections

1 Connect a digital coaxial cable (not included) from the Coaxial jack to the coaxial digital audio input on your digital receiver.

2 Set the Digital Output to Bitstream (Digital) or LPCM (Stereo) in the Setup menu, depending on the capabilities of your receiver.

3 Set your receiver to its appropriate input to hear the DVD Recorder+VCR.

4 Continue with Intial Setup on page 17.
