Child lock

The Child Lock function can be used to prevent access to selected channels. For example, to prevent children viewing inappropriate broadcast channels such as adult-only channels. This Child Lock only affects the TV tuner input (not AV inputs). The correct password is required whenever you wish to unlock and view the locked channels.

WARNING:

You will be inconvenienced if you activate the password function and subsequently forget the password. Write the password you use in this manual, and keep it in a safe place for later recall.

Enabling child lock

1.Change to the channel you wish to lock.

If you wish to lock all channels, proceed to the next step.

2.Press MENU to display the OSD menu on-screen.

to select Option, and then press OK.

4.

Press

to select Child lock, and then press OK.

5.You will be prompted to enter the password (default password: 0000). Enter the password using the channel selection buttons.

6.

Press

to select For this channel (if you wish to lock current channel) or For all

 

channels (if you wish to lock all TV channels) and then press OK.

7.

Press

or

to select Yes, and then press OK.

8. Press MENU several times to close the menu.

Disabling child lock

If you wish to disable the child lock function, select No in step 7 as described in "Enabling child lock".

Changing child lock password

1.

Press MENU to display the OSD menu on-screen.

Press

to select Option, and then press OK.

3.

Press

or

to select Child lock, and then press OK.

4.You will be prompted to enter the password (default password: 0000). Enter the password using the channel selection buttons.

5. Press or to select Change password and then press OK

6.Enter the new 4-digit password using the channel selection buttons.

7.Enter the new 4-digit password again using the channel selection buttons.

IMPORTANT:

Write your selected password down here in this manual so that it is available to you should you ever forget it.

Keep this manual in a safe place.

8. Press MENU three times to close the menu.
