When you’re ready to stop viewing Closed Captions, either move to a different teletext page, or press the Teletext button to return to normal viewing.

Whilst CC is activated:

the Aspect button can be used to alter the teletext caption font size.

the Mode button will toggle the caption background between block and transparent.

the channel up/down buttons will change to the next or previous teletext page accordingly.

To change the TV channel, you will first need to return to normal TV viewing by closing Teletext.

the OSD menu and non-teletext hot keys on the remote control are disabled.

Using the PIP and PBP functions

If the TV is connected to either a TV antenna or Video image source, and also to an active Graphic image source at the same time, you can display both images on the screen simultaneously, by using PIP (Picture-In-Picture) or PBP (Picture-By-Picture) modes.

To activate PIP or PBP, press PIP/PBP on the remote control. Each press cycles the display through the following display sequence:

PIP mode

PBP mode

Full screen

VGA must be selected as one of the sources in PIP or PBP mode.

In PIP and PBP modes, Teletext and OSD menu will not display. Some of the remote control functions will also be unavailable.

Operations whilst in PIP mode

To change the size of the sub-picture, press ASPECT on the remote control.

To change the position of the sub picture on the screen, press or on the remote control.

VGA must be the source of the main picture to enable a change in position of the sub picture.

To toggle audio between sources, press or . The current selection is highlighted in red.

To change the non-VGA picture to a different input source, press or to select audio from the sub picture, and then press INPUT.

The source of the main picture is the currently selected source when PIP was activated, and can not be changed. If VGA is the source of the sub picture, its source can not be changed either.

Operations whilst in PBP mode

To select audio from the left picture or right picture, press or .

To change to a different input source, select the non-VGA picture, and press INPUT.

In PBP mode, the source of the picture with VGA input cannot be changed.

Display information

To display the input signal timing or type and sound mode, press INFO on the remote control.
