Delete a Group

With the Group Edit window on-screen, press the

FIRST key to delete a group. Select

OK on the warning dialogue box and press to confirm your operation.

Rename a Group

Choose the group you wish to rename in the Group Edit window and press the PLAY MARK

key to bring up the on-screen keyboard. Refer to the instructions in section 3.9 “Using the On-screen Keyboard” on page 21 for more information on how to use the on-screen keyboard.

When done renaming, highlight OK on the on-screen keyboard and press to confirm the operation.

4.8.3 Rename Recorded File

1.In the recorded files list use the and keys to choose your file.

2.Press to bring up a pop-up dialogue box.

3.Select Rename and press to bring up the on-screen keyboard.

Refer to the instructions in section 3.9 “Using the On-screen Keyboard” on page 21 for more information on how to use the on- screen keyboard.

4.When done renaming, highlight OK on the on-screen keyboard and press to confirm the operation.

Note: There is a 15 character limit (including spaces) on names you can enter in the input field. Your PVR10HD will automatically accept file names longer than 15 characters if the original recorded show name exceeds this limit, but you will not able to add to this.

4.8.4 Lock recorded file

Locking a file will prevent accidentally deleting a recording that wasn’t intended to be deleted.

It will also prevent local playback unless the user enters the local password (The default password is 0000).

It’s an ideal solution to make sure you don’t lose any recordings you wish to keep and protect children from inappropriate content.
